Post Office relocation

Churchdown’s Post Office is set to move to a new store in St John’s Avenue.

The store will re-locate to the new McColl newsagents at 70 St John’s Avenue, Churchdown, on Thursday June 4 at 1pm.

McColls recently bought a Co-op convenience shop and want to relocate the Post Office to its new store.

The current Post Office at 42 St Johns Avenue will close when the new branch opens.

When it opens, the new address for Churchdown’s post office will be 70 St John’s Avenue, Churchdown, GL3 2BX.

Opening hours will be Monday – Saturday: 6am – 8pm; Sunday: 7am – 8pm.

The same range of services will continue to be available. Customers can still collect benefits in cash using our everyday banking services or Post Office card account.

The premises will have level access, with a wide automatic door. Internally, there will be a low-level serving counter, a low-level writing desk, a hearing loop and space for a wheelchair.

There will also be car parks at the front and rear of the new store.
