New homes released at landmark Churchdown development

Bellway and Ashberry Homes have opened the doors to a development of 465 new homes which will lead to £5.7m of investment in Churchdown. The first homes at Pirton Fields, in Cheltenham Road East, Churchdown, have now been released for sale.

The development will create a range of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Bellway will build 368 homes at Pirton Fields, of which 131 will be designated as affordable housing. Ashberry Homes will build 97 homes, of which 32 will be affordable.

Pirton Fields will play a significant role in the expansion of Churchdown.

The range of properties has been put together with the needs of the local market in mind. We have worked closely with Ashberry Homes and the local planning team to ensure the designs complement the existing homes in the village.

So far the homes have generated a significant amount of interest from people looking to buy a brand new home in the area. The village location and proximity to Cheltenham and Gloucester are important to the appeal of Pirton Fields

The reassurance provided by Bellway and Ashberry Homes’ status as HBF Five Star Builders is also proving important to our customers. The status was awarded in 2020 after more than 90% of our customers said they would recommend us to a friend.

Daniel Shore, Sales Manager for Bellway

Bellway and Ashberry Homes will invest almost £5m in education for pre-school, primary and secondary pupils in the area as part of their planning agreement. A further £760,000 will be spent on road improvements including work at Elmbridge Court roundabout.

We were confident that Pirton Fields would resonate with local homebuyers and the early signs suggest this will be a popular development.

It was important to provide a wide range of homes. We are confident this development will meet the needs of many local buyers, whether they are first-time buyers, families looking for more space or people who simply want to enjoy the benefits of a low-maintenance, energy-efficient new home.
