Estate Agent bows out of Churchdown

Taylors Estate Agents has been a familiar face on St Johns Avenue for many years, however it appears the shop has ceased trading in Churchdown.

A notice on the shop door advises customers that the office has closed and to contact the Cheltenham office for any enquiries.

Taylors is the latest shop to close on St Johns Avenue Shopping Parade after McColl’s relocated to the former Co-Operative Food store last year.

This now leaves 2 empty units on the Shopping Parade. We contacted Taylors for a response and will keep you updated.

  1. I thought something like this was going on when I used their services earlier in the year. Half the time their shop was closed *due to staff illness/shortages* making it pretty difficult to make progress. Furthermore, if lucky enough to find the shop open, the staff weren’t able to carry out some of the most basic tasks, like taking/confirming identification verification etc – due to *lack of training/authority* – and it’s pretty difficult to buy/sell a property without the availability of this most basic function.!

  2. Probably because St johns avenue shops are in poor state, look at the road where u park. It’s been reported to council but they do absolutely nothing!!! I won’t drive my car to park there and potentially ruin my car or even trip up, as there are so many pot holes… Barry Mackemsley
