A motorist is waking up in custody this morning after they drove drunk through the streets of Gloucstershire.
They had crashed their car into a parked vehicle on Parton Road in Churchdown in the early hours of the morning.
Luckily, neither the motorist nor anyone else was injured in the incident which took place at about 1am outside Evergreen Nurseries.
A roadside breath test was performed by officers from Gloucestershire Constabulary who said she was more than three times over the drink-drive limit at 115 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath.
A spokesman from Gloucestershire Constabulary said it was “not surprising that the driver of this vehicle crashed into a parked car on Parton Road Churchdown this morning given how much she’s had to drink”.
