A 68 year old Churchdown man who today admitted molesting a girl under the age of 7 is to be questioned about similar offences involving two other young girls.
At Gloucester Crown Court Brian Lawrence, of St Andrews Green, pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a young girl on August 20.
He appeared via video link from prison where he has been held in custody on remand since his arrest.
Judge Jamie Tabor QC heard the offence he has admitted was detected after a woman watching a play area saw Lawrence lifting her onto play equipment and then disappear with her for a short while.
The witness told the girl’s family, who questioned her daughter about what had happened to her and then called the police.
He will be sentenced at a later date.
