Police are appealing for witnesses after a 28 year old man was assaulted in Cheltenham on Tuesday December 30.
The incident happened between 1 – 3 am, when the victim was waiting at a taxi rank on The Promenade, sustaining significant fractures to his face.
The victim, from Churchdown, has no particular recollection of the circumstances of the assault and no description of his assailants, but believes he was assisted into the taxi by helpers. He may need surgery.
