Pupils at Chosen Hill School have every reason to celebrate as the vast majority of them are heading for their destinations of choice after A-Level results day.
The Churchdown school achieved a 98 per cent pass rate this year, and pupils excelled in subjects such as physics, maths and further maths and photography.
Some 32 per cent of the 115 A2 Chosen Hill pupils achieved A* to B grades, and 92 per cent got A* to Cs.
But it was not all about A-Levels this year as 10 Chosen Hill pupils achieved gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
Chosen Hill’s leavers are now going to universities, apprenticeships and the RAF.
Kirsten Harrison, head teacher of the school, said: “We’re very pleased – these are our best results in recent years. We’re fabulously proud of the pupils – they’ve worked really, really hard.”
