A Woman was rushed to hospital after a dog attack in Churchdown on Saturday.
Police were called to Church Road around 10am to a report of a 68-year-old woman who had allegedly been bitten by a dog.
She was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and investigations are ongoing.
A Churchdown resident, who asked not to be named, said many people in the village are concerned about the woman’s health.
He said: “It is the talk of the village because she is a very well-known lady who has lived in Churchdown for many years.“People are saying that it was a big dog which was tied up outside the shop.
“Everyone is concerned and we all hope that she is ok.”
