Following the Global Coronavirus Pandemic and advice from the UK Government, we regret to announce that Churchdown Fireworks Extravaganza 2020 is Cancelled.
A Full Council meeting was held on 12th May 2020, where members reached the decision to cancel all future community activities organised by Churchdown Parish Council including Coach Trips, Day in the Park and the Firework Extravaganza.
This decision was made with a heavy heart as we know how much the community enjoy these events but in line with current restrictions we cannot jeopardise anyone’s health and would not be able to monitor social distancing.
We hope everyone is well and staying safe in these difficult times.
