Gloucestershire County Council needs foster carers in the Churchdown area for children of all ages, especially older children and teenagers.
There is no upper age limit to foster and you can be married, single, living together (for over two years), employed or unemployed, renting a property. However you will need to be over 21 years old and have a spare room (more if you consider siblings).
Foster carers receive good support including on-going training and a skills & maintenance allowance which can amount to over £300 a week if you foster a teenager. On average our foster carers are approved within five months of accepting their application to foster. So why not call & have a chat with us or leave your details on line and we will call you? We also have regular drop in events round the county listed on our website.
