A Churchdown resident is upset that a row of shops is becoming run down and neglected.
She took pictures of St John’s Avenue and wrote on Facebook: “What’s happening to our lovely village?
“St John’s Avenue in Churchdown – it was a lovely place to shop.
“Now look at it. Hardly any shops.
“We used to have Tredgetts, gateway, midland bank. Wool shop, iron mongers, video shop, news agents. Butchers, building society…..
“Now we have an empty bank, empty news agents, cake shop and a funeral parlour because it’s a dead place to shop.”
