Churchdown Panthers Club News

New Sponsorship for U8’s…
In December the Under 8’s received their first full playing kits and looked resplendent in them. They christened them in a mini friendly festival at Bishops Cleeve and they certainly seemed to be a lot more proud of themselves.

This was made possible by a very healthy 50% donation by Carpet Hut as their sponsor and the rest being made up by fund raising and parent contribution, as well as assistance from the club. We are very grateful to them all and look forward to a couple of seasons of representing Churchdown Panthers in this lovely kit.

Our U6’s are keen for sponsorship too
This squad of 18+ children are looking for local businesses to provide funds to support the team in funding training kit, in return for exposure on our Facebook page, web page, good will etc…and possibly on the kit! If your business is keen to support youth football in the community, please contact info@churchdownpanthers.co.uk

U9’s going great guns…
The Under 9’s are having a busy season, now with 24 players in the squad, we have split into two teams ‘Rovers’ and ‘Albion’ and both are in the Cheltenham Youth League. Under relatively new FA rules this age range is not able to play regular competitive football, and therefore play regular development friendly matches, with up to three competitive  tournaments per season.

To date:
Rovers have played 12 matches, and have won 3, drawn 4 and lost 5.
Albion have played 10 matches, and have won 4 and lost 6
