Churchdown Parish Council & MyChurchdown are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to help deliver the annual Firework Extravaganza event on Friday 2nd November.

This is an excellent opportunity to work somewhere with an amazing atmosphere and energetic feel. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, passionate about people, have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service.

You will be working with an experienced team and main duties will include:

  • Welcoming and assisting visitors upon arrival
  • Checking tickets using the QFlow management systems.
  • Undertake pre and post-event checks
  • Dealing with customer queries in a confident and friendly manner
  • Constantly monitoring the spectators in your area.
  • Ensure exit and evacuation routes are kept clear at all times.
  • Report immediately any damage or defect, suspect package or fire risk which is likely to pose a threat or danger to spectator safety.

Please note this is a voluntary position for those aged 16 and over. You must be available between 16:30 – 20:30 on Friday 2nd November 2018.
