You may have noticed a heavier than usual Police presence in Churchdown this afternoon and wondered why?
Two males who were wanted for Burglary were spotted outside Tesco on Cheltenham Road East, they both made off from the Police with one being detained quickly a short distance away. The second male began garden hoping and initially made good his escape!
More officers were deployed to the area including a police dog and the helicopter was called for. With the help of the public informing officers on the ground that they had seen the male and where he was seen he was detained with the assistance from the all seeing eye in the sky NPAS 43 after they located him in a field and directed officers to him
